The goals of this conference are:

  1. Disseminate the modules and results of the class, "Engineering for Non-Engineers." Enable faculty at many institutions to offer this type of class for non-engineering undergraduate students.
  2. Present current efforts in undergraduate education
  3. Present current efforts in K-12 education
  4. Build a network of teachers of all levels in using LEGO MINDSTORMS and ROBOLAB in the Midwest and beyond.
  5. Present workshop topics including:

1. Basic ROBOLAB
2. Advanced ROBOLAB Techniques and Tips
3. Pneumatics!
4. Industry uses of ROBOLAB

  1. LEGO CAD

Presentation from educators, both formal and informal, and others that have used ROBOLAB will be featured. Members of the planning committee will moderate discussion in their area of expertise to help users explore the practical applications of ROBOLAB.
