Text Box:  Mission  The Rapid Prototyping and Product Development (RPPD) Laboratory, at Wichita State University, seeks to develop and disseminate processes that enable exceptional improvements in product quality during design and manufacturing phases. The main goal is to shorten lead-time for the development of new products with positive impact on total cost and the environment. The laboratory will provide Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Tooling services to the industry in Wichita, and support  multidisciplinary industry based research projects in the areas of Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing, Reverse Engineering, Reliability Assessment and Medical Modeling.   EQUIPMENT
